Route description to the school (Nicolaas Witsenstraat 5, 1017 ZE Amsterdam)
The Nicolaas Witsenstraat is a side street of Weteringschans in the centre of Amsterdam.

By car:
The Nicolaas Witsenstraat is a one-way street which you cannot enter from the Weteringschans, but only from the Nicolaas Witsenkade. There is usually enough (expensive) public parking space in the area (but at the Stadhouderskade parking space is less expensive).

By public transport (tram):
- From Central Station you can take tram numbers 16, 24, 25 and 4. Tram numbers 4 and 25 bring you the closest to the Nicolaas Witsenstraat; get off at Frederiksplein and follow the Weteringschans in the direction of the Leidseplein. The Nicolaas Witsenstraat is the third street on your left. If you take number 16 or 24 you have to get off at Weteringcircuit. Follow the Weteringschans in the direction of the Nederlandse Bank; after about a five-minute walk you will find the Nicolaas Witsenstraat on your right.
- If you are coming from another part of the city, you can also take tram numbers 6, 7 or 10, which follow the Weteringschans. Get off at the stop Frederiksplein, which is close to the Nicolaas Witsenstraat.

By public transport (metro):
From Central Station you can also take the metro. Get off at the metro station Weesperplein. Now you can take tram numbers 6, 7 or 10 in the direction of the Leidseplein. Get of at the stop Frederiksplein, which is the second stop. If you follow the tram, the Nicolaas Witsenstraat is the third street on your left (after about 100 metres).
